Bedbugs are insects belonging to Order Hemiptera (all have piercing and sucking mouthparts). Adult bedbugs are ired without wings and oval-shar generally 4-5mm long, rusty-brown coloured, without wings, and oval shaped. Lifespan of Bedbug
The lifespan of the majority of bed bugs is usually four to six months, although a few of them can live even for one year when they are under cold conditions.
Bed bugs die faster in warm temperatures as compared to cold temperatures. A starved male bed bug can remain alive for a year at a temperature of 50F but may die within : month at 80F temperature.

EGG Stage
The NYMPH stage starts when a bed bug egg hatches into a small, pale bug. It grows through five stages, reaching 4.5mm by the fifth stage, with older nymphs turning reddish-brown.

ADULT Stage
A bed bug can mature from egg to adult in as little as 37 days, with warmer temperatures speeding up development. Adult bed bugs are 5-7 mm long.
